A Guided Inquiry

We go through life with certain beliefs about ourselves. Usually the beliefs take the form
of an “inadequate self”.
“I am not good enough”. “I am not clever enough”, “I am not pretty enough”
“I am not enough”.
I am too fat, too thin,
I am not loved, not wanted.
And on and on. You get the picture.
We take these beliefs to be true, to be actually who we are. They color our lives, we see
everything through the veil of these beliefs. The world and other people seem to confirm
that they are true.
But if we really look can we actually find the inadequate self?
